Note: This project sits outside the boundaries of the Cashiers regulatory agencies and is moving forward.

Cashiers Lake remained under private ownership for an extended period, with minimal development taking place. The lake is intricately connected to the headwaters of the Chattooga River, necessitating meticulous care. The upcoming transformation of Cashiers Lake will give rise to an inviting village, featuring thoughtfully crafted spaces dedicated to markets, amenities, leisurely living, and residential neighborhoods.

Daniel Communities' other Cashiers NC project is High Hampton Inn. High Hampton reopened in April of 2021 after extensive renovations and additions.
Oringally built in the late 1800s,
