Lake Glenville NC

Lake Glenville, originally known as Thorpe Reservoir from 1951 to 2002, is situated eight miles northeast of Cashiers, North Carolina. Its waters are held back by a dam, creating a scenic reservoir.

Located just two miles from Hurricane Creek, it was formed in 1941 by damming the west fork of the Tuckasegee River.
